At this ceremony where awards were conferred in a total of 10 categories, the most prestigious "Engineer of the Year Award" and the "Engineering Innovation, Technology, Education and Research Award" were won by Dr. Furqan Ibrahim, while the "Lifetime Achievement Award" was conferred on Abdul Shakoor Solih, as well as in memory of the late Ahmed Mahureen and Mohamed Rasheed.
