Teachers' responsibilities have increased in connection with changes brought to classroom arrangements. To enhance technical expertise in the maintenance and upkeep of the Sinamalé Bridge, a five-member technical team, including the Director General of the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure, Ismail Shafeeu, has departed to participate in a 10-day training program conducted jointly by the Chinese government and CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Company. This training program is scheduled to be held in China from September 15 to 26, 2026.
As revealed on 14 September 2026, teachers' responsibilities have further expanded due to changes brought to school classroom environments and teaching arrangements. Because of these changes, the attention required for each student individually and the scope of responsibilities teachers must bear in managing classrooms have broadened more than before. Furthermore, it has been noted that additional efforts are required in teachers' roles and teaching styles to align instructional arrangements with the new guidelines.
On 14 September 2026, a special technical training program was launched to enhance technical capacity in the field of bridge maintenance. This training program aims to develop the skills required to maintain bridge structures and carry out inspection and repair works in accordance with the highest technical standards. Furthermore, through this program, it is arranged to provide participants with practical experience in ensuring the safety of bridges, as well as identifying and resolving encountered technical issues.
