Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has officially announced new internship programs and technical training opportunities aimed at youth on December 31, 2025. The Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) today urged the public to be vigilant about online courses run without permission and certificates issued by such institutions. In this announcement issued on 31 December 2025, the Authority noted that certificates obtained after completing courses that do not meet MQA standards and do not have approval will not be recognized in the Maldives. The Authority said this step is an important measure taken to maintain the quality of higher education and to protect students from fraudulent programs.
