The President has today officially decreed the relocation of the residents of HDh. Hirimaradhoo to Hanimadhoo in the same atoll. With this decree, issued on December 30, 2025, Hirimaradhoo will cease to be a populated island, and the practical work of migrating the entire population of the island to Hanimadhoo has begun.
