President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu today officially inaugurated a national project to train 250 Maldivian therapists with the aim of expanding and strengthening therapy services in the Maldives. This project is an important initiative undertaken by the government to ensure that people with disabilities and those in need of mental health care can easily access treatment from all regions of the Maldives. The program aims to train therapists in various fields and increase the participation of Maldivians in the health sector. The President's Office informs that this will provide a permanent solution to the shortage of therapists facing the healthcare system in the Maldives.
