Education
It was revealed on December 27, 2025 that the government has set a goal to complete the construction of 30 educational sector buildings by the start of the 2026 academic year. These projects include new classrooms being built in various regions of the Maldives, multipurpose halls, and essential resources needed to expand educational opportunities. Upon completion of these buildings, a major solution will be found for the space constraints faced by schools, and a conducive environment for students will be established when next year's studies begin. The government's aim is to complete all these works according to the set schedule and prepare for the new academic year.
