Today, 25 December 2025, 30 percent of the land reclamation work of the "RasMale'" project, which was launched to find a permanent solution to the housing problem in the Male' area, has been successfully completed. While the land reclamation work from Fushidhiggaru Lagoon is progressing rapidly under this massive project, it is noteworthy that this is the largest land reclamation project ever undertaken in the history of Maldives. In connection with the achievement of this important milestone, continuous efforts are being made with modern resources to complete the entire project according to the set schedule. Upon completion of this project, which is being implemented under the Affordable Housing Policy, RasMale' will become a sustainable and environmentally friendly city.

The practical work of establishing "Hybrid Energy Systems" aimed at generating electricity using renewable energy in various islands of the Maldives was officially launched on 25 December 2025. This project is an important endeavor designed to include many islands in order to generate electricity in an environmentally friendly manner and reduce reliance on oil.
