Today, 25 December 2025, 30 percent of the land reclamation work of the "RasMale'" project, which was launched to find a permanent solution to the housing problem in the Male' area, has been successfully completed. While the land reclamation work from Fushidhiggaru Lagoon is progressing rapidly under this massive project, it is noteworthy that this is the largest land reclamation project ever undertaken in the history of Maldives. In connection with the achievement of this important milestone, continuous efforts are being made with modern resources to complete the entire project according to the set schedule. Upon completion of this project, which is being implemented under the Affordable Housing Policy, RasMale' will become a sustainable and environmentally friendly city.
