Three people sustained various serious injuries in a dangerous accident involving a collision between two motorcycles on Sosun Magu in Malé late Monday night, September 21, 2026. The woman, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, is being treated at ADK Hospital, while the other two men are receiving treatment at IGMH. An agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the NGO "Khidhumath" to construct a mosque in Hulhumalé Phase 2 in memory of the renowned Maldivian religious scholar, the late Sheikh Ibrahim Fareed Ahmed.
